"I read this for school and we had to do a project on it and if I get your email, I can send the project to you."
As soon as I saw this comment, I couldn't help but let out a little scream of joy, "What? That is so cool!"
Turns out, a reader chose to read my book for school and wrote a book report on it! I am so honored. Not long ago, this book was just an idea. So now, to not only have it published but to also have teens actually reading and liking it, makes me so happy.
She gave me permission to post her report, so I wanted to share it with you all! If you ever do a school project on my book or even just something creative you're proud of, please let me know. I want to celebrate you and your hard work!
Teen Student's Book Report for It's the Depression for Me:
I read the book It's the Depression for Me: 3 Ways To Make Being A Teenager Suck Less by Maeve Ronan, the book is just ways to have more self-confidence and ways to make life just a bit easier.
It goes by 3 main chapters and in those three chapters there are mini chapters, the first main chapter is Start because when you are doing bad in school before you do anything you just have to start, because you can’t basically do anything before you start.
The next one is Believe even though things can get super tuff sometimes all you can do is believe. The last main chapter is Appreciate, sometimes all my mom says when I say “ I HATE THIS SCHOOL,” she always says, “well at least you have a school that cares about you and wants you to succeed.” I have never taken that seriously until I have heard about other schools that don't even like the students and just do it for the money.
This book might be pretty short but it has a lot of meaning in it. I would 10/10 recommend this book to anyone who needs some self-improvement and a boost in their confidence.
I love this! Like she says, the book has 3 main chapters.
Start, Believe, & Appreciate.
In each chapter, there are mini chapters that have tips and tricks about how I learned how to have more self-confidence and enjoy my life more, even while struggling with depression and anxiety. As she says, "this book might be pretty short, but it has a lot of meaning in it."
Most importantly, this book will give you HOPE. You can get your copy here!
