#1 Way to Make Your Dreams a Reality

If you want to live your dream life, first you have to figure out what that life looks like. You have to take your eyes off of current events and allow yourself to envision a better future! What's the only way to do that? Dream.

Napoleon Hill, author of one of my favorite books, Think and Grow Rich, said that "dreams are the seedlings of reality." Meaning, whatever you envision for your future, is what will become your reality someday. Albert Einstein said something similar, which is that your imagination is the preview of life’s coming attractions.

You get to create that preview! You get to choose what your life will look like in 1 year, 5 years, even 20 years. You have to let yourself imagine something that does not yet exist! I know it might sound kind of crazy, but honestly, you'd be crazy not to! If you never allow yourself to dream, you will be stuck in the current version of your life forever.

If you have a dream for what your future will look like, it will give you something to look forward to each day.

The real trick is that you have to actually believe it. You have to make the decision to believe that you can make your dreams happen. The way I look at it is like this: there are already people who don't like you, family disagreements, and problems in the world, there are so many things that are stacked against you... so why add to that list by also not believing in yourself?

With everything else going on, you can’t afford to be against yourself as well. When you have all these negative external forces coming at you, you must believe in yourself. That is your responsibility if you have dreams that you want to make into a reality someday.

So just remember, dream and dream and dream some more, because dreams are the seeds of reality. Whatever you plant, will grow.

Ask yourself today: What seeds will I plant for future me to harvest?
